Overview
Query Tool allows novice and experienced users to directly access corporate data resources for real-time data exploration. Using only a Web browser, users can view published queries, saving and modifying them as required to meet their information needs.
Query Tool is very easy-to-use and allows query users to run and modify existing queries, design new ones, and optionally publish queries back to the portal for future use.
Query Tool is easy to support and was specifically designed for Web deployments. The client software is HTML-only, meaning anyone with a browser—including extranet users like customers, suppliers, and partners—can create and execute queries. IT never has to install, configure, or support custom software on client desktops, and users never have to download plug-ins or Java applets
